Dear Friends, Supporters, and Voters,  

While the special election results of November 5th may not be the outcome we hoped for, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout this campaign. Your belief in our vision for a thriving, transparent, and unified District 3 kept us moving forward each day.  

I am honored and humbled by the more than 9,000 votes we received, as well as the encouragement and dedication from each of you.  As we look toward the future, please remember that local elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. 

During these uncertain times, it is crucial that District 3 has a strong and principled leader. I urge you to stay engaged, ask tough, probing questions, and dig beyond the surface with the remaining District 3 and Super District 7 Commissioner candidates. Our county deserves leaders who are transparent, accountable, and fully committed to the well-being of all residents, whether in unincorporated areas or within municipal city limits.  

Thank you for walking this journey with us. For now, I will continue my advocacy through this weekly community newsletter to ensure that South DeKalb residents and stakeholders receive timely county news and updates. This is only the beginning of what we can achieve together for DeKalb.
